The Senior Presiding Judge (the judicial office holder nominated by the Lord Chief Justice) makes the following Rules, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 19(1) and (2) of the Courts Act 20031, and after consultation with the Lord Chancellor, the Criminal Procedure Rule Committee, the Family Procedure Rule Committee and the Magistrates’ Courts Rule Committee in accordance with section 20(2) of that Act:
