EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 (“the Principal Amendment Regulations”) by amending the date on which those Regulations are to come into force from 30th September 2007 to 15th October 2007.

A full regulatory impact assessment of the effect that the Principal Amendment Regulations will have on the costs of business and the voluntary sector is available from the Department for Transport, Accessibility and Equalities Unit, Zone 4/22, Great Minister House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR (telephone 020 7944 3590) and can be found on the Department’s website at www.dft.gov.uk/. A separate assessment has not been prepared for these Regulations since their only effect is to postpone the date of operation of the Principal Amendment Regulations by 15 days.
