This Order may be cited as the Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) (England) Order 2007; it applies in England and comes into force on 1st October 2007.
Fireplaces exempted from section 20 of the Clean Air Act 19932
The fireplaces in the Schedule are exempt from section 20 of the Clean Air Act 1993 (prohibition of smoke emissions in smoke control area), subject to the conditions in the Schedule.
Revocation3
The Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) (England) (No. 2) Order 20063 is revoked.
