HEALTH CARE AND ASSOCIATED PROFESSIONS;HEALTH PROFESSIONS

This Order, which is made under the Health Professions Order 2001, approves Rules made by the Health Professions Council. Those Rules amend the Health Professions Council (Registration and Fees) Rules 2003 in connection with the payment of fees to the Health Professions Council. The Rules provide for increases in the fees payable by registrants, as follows:applications for registration: increase from £60 to £72 for new entrants to the profession, and an increase from £120 to £144 for other registrants;applications for renewal: increase from £120 to £144;applications for readmission or restoration: increase from £120 to £254;scrutiny fee for applications for registration by applicants with United Kingdom qualifications: £50 (a new fee); andscrutiny fee for other applications for registration: increase from £200 to £400.
