Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19921:
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 12th April 2006.
Increase of earnings limits in respect of dependent children and qualifying young persons2
In paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 72 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992—
a
in paragraph (a), for the amount “£170” substitute the amount “£175”; and
b
in paragraph (b), for the amount “£22” substitute the amount “£23” and for the amount “£170” substitute the amount “£175”.
