—Regulation 41 of the Working Time Regulations 199818 is amended as follows.

In paragraph (1) at the beginning insert “Subject to paragraph (1A),”.

After paragraph (1) insert—

For the purposes of these Regulations, any constable who has been seconded to the Serious Organised Crime Agency to serve as a member of its staff shall be treated as employed by the Serious Organised Crime Agency.

In paragraph (3), paragraph (b) of the definition of “the relevant officer” is revoked.
