Provisions coming into force on 8th February 2007

5.  Section 5 of the Act comes into force on 8th February 2007—

(a) in relation to secondary schools(1) which are not special schools(2), and

(b) in relation to primary schools(3) which are not special schools, only in relation to the local education authorities listed in the Schedule.

Within the meaning of section 5(2) of the Education Act 1996 (c.56).

(2)

Within the meaning of section 6(2) of the Education Act 1996.

(3)

Within the meaning of section 5(1) of the Education Act 1996.
