That section is not brought into force in so far as the amendments made by it relate to the Channel Islands;section 13, which amends sections 25 and 25A of the 1993 Act to enable lottery distributors to meet expenditure which relates to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, and to delegate their powers of distribution to a body established in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. That section is not brought into force in so far as the amendments made by it relate to the Channel Islands;section 15, which amends section 23 of the 1993 Act (to provide for the Big Lottery Fund to be a lottery distributor) and inserts sections 36B to 36E of the 1993 Act (which themselves confer functions on the Big Lottery Fund);sections 17 to 19 which make provision for the transfer of property, rights and liabilities and balances held in the National Lottery Distribution Fund, and which make consequential amendments, arising out of the dissolution of the National Lottery Charities Board, the Millennium Commission and the New Opportunities Fund under section 16 of the National Lottery Act 2006;section 20 which inserts a new definition of charitable expenditure in section 44 of the 1993 Act; andsection 21 and Schedule 3 which provide for repeals. 2006 No. 3201 (C. 113) national lottery The National Lottery Act 2006 (Commencement <Abbreviation Expansion="Number">No.</Abbreviation> 3) Order 2006 Made 30th November 2006 The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the National Lottery Act 2006. Citation and interpretation 1 1 This Order may be cited as the National Lottery Act 2006 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2006. 2 In this Order “the 1993 Act” means the National Lottery etc. Act 1993. Commencement 2 The following provisions of the National Lottery Act 2006 shall come into force on 1st December 2006— a subsections (1) and (2) of section 7 and subsection (3) of that section (except in so far as it relates to the insertion of section 22(3B)(e) of the 1993 Act), b subsection (1) of section 13 (except in so far as it relates to the addition of section 25(6)(b) of the 1993 Act) and subsection (2) of that section (except in so far as it relates to the addition of section 25A(13) of the 1993 Act), c section 15, d sections 17 to 20, e section 21 and Schedule 3.
