The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Whereas the National Assembly for Wales, having considered that the powers conferred by section 19(2) of the Education Act 2005(1) ought to be exercised, has advised the Secretary of State for Wales on a recommendation to be made to Her Majesty as to the exercise of that power.
And whereas the Secretary of State for Wales has made a recommendation to Her Majesty in accordance with that advice:
Now therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 19(2) of the Education Act 2005, is pleased, in accordance with that recommendation, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 11th October 2006.
2. The persons named in the Schedule to this Order are hereby appointed Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education and Training in Wales or Arolygwyr Ei Mawrhydi dros Addysg a Hyfforddiant yng Nghymru with effect from 11th October 2006.
