Fees for design applications2

The fee to be paid for an application for the registration of a design or designs is the following amount (or the sum of the following amounts).

In respect of the first design included in an application the amount is—
a
where consent to publish is given, £60; and
b
where no such consent is given, £40.

In respect of any subsequent design included in the application the amount is—
a
where consent to publish is given, £40; and
b
where no such consent is given, £20.

For the purposes of this rule, “consent to publish” is given where consent for the publication of a representation of a design is given in accordance with rule 4(3) of the Registered Designs Rules 20064.
