Fees for design applications

2.—(1) The fee to be paid for an application for the registration of a design or designs is the following amount (or the sum of the following amounts).

(2) In respect of the first design included in an application the amount is—

(a)where consent to publish is given, £60; and

(b)where no such consent is given, £40.

(3) In respect of any subsequent design included in the application the amount is—

(a)where consent to publish is given, £40; and

(b)where no such consent is given, £20.

(4) For the purposes of this rule, “consent to publish” is given where consent for the publication of a representation of a design is given in accordance with rule 4(3) of the Registered Designs Rules 2006(1).
