The First Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 3A(1) of Schedule 14 to the Environment Act 19951, makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and application1

This Order may be cited as the Periodic Review of Mineral Planning Permissions (Conygar Quarry) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 3rd March 2006.

This Order applies in relation to the mining site known as Conygar Quarry, Norton’s Wood Lane, Clevedon, Somerset (Conygar Quarry) in respect of which an interim development order permission for the development of mineral workings was granted on 12 November 1947 and registered by Avon County Council on 21 August 19922 pursuant to section 22 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Planning and Compensation Act 19913.
First review date2
For the purposes of Schedule 14 to the Environment Act 1995 (periodic review of mineral planning permissions) the first review date in relation to Conygar Quarry is 4th June 2007.
