The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 19771.

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the City and Hackney Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2006 and shall come into force on 5th August 2006.

In this Order “Principal Order” means the City and Hackney Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 20012.

Amendment of the Schedule to the Principal Order2

In the Schedule to the Principal Order, after “The City of London”, there shall be inserted the words “, the Inner Temple, the Middle Temple”.

This Order amends the Establishment Order of the City and Hackney Primary Care Trust (“the trust”) which was re-named the City and Hackney Teaching Primary Care Trust by S.I. 2003/2663. The trust is a Primary Care Trust established by Order under section 16A of the National Health Service Act 1977. This Order adds to the area for which the trust is established the Inner and Middle Temples.

A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as it has no impact on the costs of business, charities or voluntary bodies.
