The Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No.8 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2005

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force the provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (c. 44) set out in Schedule 1 on 4^th April 2005, those referred to in article 3 on 18^th April 2005, and those referred to in article 2(2) and 4 on 4^th April 2007. Commencement in the case of the provisions falling under article 4 and Schedule 1 is subject to the saving and transitional provisions contained in Schedule 2 to the Order.
