The Chancellor of the Exchequer, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 34(1) and 36(4) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004(1) makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Registration of Civil Partnerships (Fees) (No. 2) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 5th December 2005.
(2) In this Order—
“certified copy” means a copy of an entry in the register referred to in section 30(4) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 which contains all the information recorded in that entry issued in accordance with regulations made by the Registrar General under section 36 of the 2004 Act;
“certified extract” means a copy of an entry in the register referred to in section 30(4) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 which does not include the addresses of the civil partners as recorded in that entry, issued in accordance with regulations made by the Registrar General under section 36 of the 2004 Act.
2. In respect of the matters set out in the first column of the Schedule to this Order, the fee specified in the second column shall be payable to the person specified in the third column.

This Order specifies, in relation to obtaining copies of entries in the register of civil partnerships and to obtaining a certificate of no impediment to the registration of an overseas relationship, the amount of the fees to be paid and who they are to be paid to.
This Order does not impose a charge on business.
