In addition, rule 5 is an amendment made as a consequence of the implementation of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 (c. 33) and rule 7 inserts paragraph 44 into the Schedule to the Rules, which had been omitted when the Justices' Clerks Rules 1999 were replaced by the 2005 Rules.
