The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 123(2), 125(3), 125(5), 125A(5), 125A(6), 125A(7), 125B(2), 125B(6), 127(2), 129(5) 132, 133B(2), 134 and 135(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988(1), and after consulting with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1988 c. 52. Section 125(3) was amended by S.I. 1999/357, regulation 2; sections 125(5) and 132 were amended by the Transport Act 2000, section 260 and Schedule 29; sections 125A and 125B were amended by the Road Traffic (Driving Instruction by Disabled Persons) Act 1993 (c. 31) section 1 and sections 127(2) and 129(5) were inserted by sections 6 and 2 respectively of that Act.
