Repeals, revocations, amendments and transitional provisions

53.—(1) The enactments and instruments referred to in Schedules 2 and 3 are amended, repealed and revoked in accordance with those Schedules.
(2) The enactments and instruments specified in column 1 of Schedules 4 and 5 are repealed or revoked, as the case may be, to the extent specified in the corresponding entry in column 3.
(3) Any conditions imposed under section 20(2A) or (2C) of the London Building Acts (Amendment) Act 1939(1) before the date when this Order comes into force and which relate to maintenance, shall cease to have effect from that date.

Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Instrument and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications.
