6. Where accommodation for residential care comprises a group of specially provided dwellings, the dwellings which satisfy the requirements of paragraph 3(4)(a) to (c) must all be dwellings which are provided or managed—
(a)under Part II of the Housing Act 1985(1);
(b)by a housing association within the meaning of the Housing Associations Act 1985(2); or
(c)by a development corporation within the meaning of the New Towns Act 1981(3).
1985 c. 69; section 1 defines ‘housing association’.
1981 c. 64; a development corporation is defined in section 3. Section 3 was amended by the Government of Wales Act 1998 (c. 38), section 152 and Schedule 18, Part 4.
