In paragraph (3)(b) of regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the Insurance Accounts Directive (Miscellaneous Insurance Undertakings) Regulations 1993, for “Article 2(2) or (3) or 3 of Council Directive 79/267/EEC” substitute “Article 3(2) to (6) of Directive 2002/83/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5th November 2002 concerning life assurance”.
