2.—(1) The vaccination of animals against foot-and-mouth disease is a minor treatment for the purposes of section 19(4)(e) of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 if the person administering the vaccine complies with this article.

(2) He must be 18 years of age or over.

(3) He must act under the direction of a veterinary surgeon.

(4) He must obtain a certificate of competence from a veterinary surgeon.
