12.—(1) The name by which a commonhold association is registered under the Companies Act 1985(1) must end with `commonhold association limited' or, if the memorandum of association states that the commonhold association’s registered office is to be situated in Wales, those words or the Welsh equivalent (`Cymdeithas Cydradd-Ddaliad Cyfyngedig').
(2) The name by which a company other than a commonhold association is registered may not end with `commonhold association limited' or the Welsh equivalent `Cymdeithas Cydradd-Ddaliad Cyfyngedig'.
(3) In this regulation references to the words “limited” and “cyfyngedig” include the abbreviations “ltd.” and “cyf.”.
