Regulations 8, 19 and 22 above shall not apply to registered bonds transferable in fixed denominations, but the following provisions of this regulation shall have effect with respect thereto.

If a bond is defaced, lost or destroyed, the Registrar may, on the surrender of the bond, in a case in which the bond is defaced and on receipt of such evidence and indemnity as he may require, issue a duplicate thereof, and may charge a sum equal to the cost of replacing the bond.

The Registrar shall give effect to a transfer of any bond by entering in the register, and by endorsing on the bond, such particulars as are requisite to show the effect of the transfer.
