The State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2003

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(3) of the State Pension Credit Act 20021, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.4) Order 2003.

In this Order, references to sections and Schedules are, unless the context otherwise requires, to sections of, and Schedules to, the State Pension Credit Act 2002.
Appointed day2
The day appointed for the coming into force of—
a
section 11 (in so far as it is not already in force) in relation to paragraphs 1 to 7, 10 and 12 of Schedule 1; and
b
section 21 and Schedule 3 to the extent that they repeal the provisions specified in the Schedule to this Order,
is 7th April 2003.

The following provisions of the State Pension Credit Act 2002 have been brought into force by the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.1) Order 2002 (S.I.2002/1691 (C.51)), by the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.2) Order 2002 (S.I.2002/2248 (C.72)) and by the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.3) Order 2003 (S.I.2003/83 (C.4)). Only section 18 has been brought fully into force; the other provisions have been brought into force partially for the purpose only of exercising any power to make regulations or orders.
