Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 79A of, and paragraph 3(2) and 3(3) of Schedule 12 to, the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation, commencement and application1

These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Amendment Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st April 2003.

These Regulations apply to England only.
Amendment of the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 19892
In regulation 4 of the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 1989 (calculation of charges)2, in paragraph (5), for “£366” in both places where it occurs, there is substituted “£372”.
Revocation3
The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Amendment Regulations 20023 are hereby revoked.
Transitional provision4
Where, on or after 1st April 2003, appliances are supplied, or other general dental services are provided, in pursuance of a contract or arrangement for the provision of general dental services made before that date, regulation 4(5) of the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 1989 shall have effect in respect of that supply or other provision as if these Regulations had not come into force.
