Citation and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2003.

In this Order—

  • “the Act” means the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998;

  • “the first appointed day” means 1st April 2003;

  • “the second appointed day” means 1st June 2003; and

  • “the third appointed day” means 1st April 2006.
