Appointed day for provisions relating to local authority scrutiny of health service provision and public involvement and consultation

3.  1st January 2003 is the day appointed for the coming into force of—

(a) sections 7 to 11(1) of the Act;

(b) Schedule 1(2) to the Act; and

(c) paragraph 13 of Schedule 5 to the Act, and section 67(1) of the Act in so far as it relates to that paragraph.

Section 7 of the Act was amended by the 2002 Act, section 21 and Schedule 1, paragraph 55(2); and section 11 of the Act was amended by the 2002 Act, Schedule 8, paragraph 35.

Schedule 1 to the Act was amended by the 2002 Act, Schedule 2, paragraph 79, and Schedule 3, paragraph 17.
