Amendment of the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 (Designation of Vessels and Controlled Sites) Order 2002 2 Article 3(c)(ii) of the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 (Designation of Vessels and Controlled Sites) Order 2002 shall be amended by substituting the word “East”, which appears at the end of the co-ordinates, for the word “West”. 1986 c. 35. The power to designate any land as, or as part of, a controlled site is exercisable in relation to Crown land as it is exercisable in relation to other land: see section 1(7).
