Article 3(c)(ii) of the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 (Designation of Vessels and Controlled Sites) Order 2002 2 shall be amended by substituting the word “East”, which appears at the end of the co-ordinates, for the word “West”.

Signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Defence

Dr Lewis Moonie
Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Defence

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order corrects an error in the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 (Designation of Vessels and Controlled Sites) Order 2002, article 3(c)(ii) of which gives the wrong co-ordinates for an area that it designates as a controlled site. Article 3(c)(ii) gives the co-ordinates of the area to be designated as lying at longitude East. This Order corrects that co-ordinate to show that the area designated as a controlled site lies at longitude West.

This Order is being made available free of charge to all those who can show that they have already bought or who subsequently buy the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 (Designation of Vessels and Controlled Sites) Order 2002.
