Citation and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 5 and Amendment) Order 2003.

In this Order references to sections are references to sections of the Enterprise Act 2002.
Amendment to Schedule 2 to the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 20032.

For the words “section 270 (fees)” there is substituted “section 270(3)”.

The words “section 271 (Insolvency Services Account: interest)” are omitted.
Appointed day3.
The day appointed for the bringing into force of sections 270(1), (2) and (4) and section 271 is the day after the day on which this Order is made.
This Order makes provision for the earlier commencement of sections 270(1), (2) and (4) and section 271 of the Enterprise Act 2002. These were due to come into force on the 1st April 2004 by virtue of article 2(2) of, and Schedule 2 to, the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2003. They will now come into force on the day after the day on which this order is made.
The following provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002 have been brought into force or will be brought into force by commencement orders made before the date of this Order:
