Whereas a draft of this Order has been approved by each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Extradition Act 2003 , hereby makes the following Order:

1.

This Order may be cited as the Extradition Act 2003 (Designation of Part 1 Territories) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st January 2004.

The following territories are designated for the purposes of Part 1 of the Extradition Act 2003—

Austria,

Belgium,

Bulgaria,

Croatia,

Cyprus,

Czech Republic,

Denmark,

Estonia,

Finland,

France,

Germany,

Greece,

Hungary,

Ireland,

Italy,

Latvia,

Lithuania,

Luxembourg,

Malta,

The Netherlands,

Poland,

Portugal,

Romania,

Slovakia,

Slovenia,

Spain,

Sweden.

Gibraltar is designated for the purposes of Part 1 of the Extradition Act 2003.
