The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Part I of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989

, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st April 2003.

Amendments to the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order 19912.

In the section headed “South Eastern Circuit” in Schedule 2 to the Children (Allocation of Proceedings) Order 1991

S.I. 1991/1677; the relevant amending instruments are S.I. 1994/3138 and 2001/775.

(a)

omit the entry for the petty sessions area of Beccles;

(b)

in the entry for the petty sessions area of Cambridge in column (ii), for “Peterborough County Court” substitute “Cambridge County Court”;

(c)

after the entry for the petty sessions area of Eastbourne insert—

East Cambridgeshire

Cambridge County Court

(d)

omit the entry for the petty sessions area of Ely;

(e)

for the entry for the petty sessions area of Felixstowe substitute—

;

(f)
