2.—(1) The Schedule to the National Police Records (Recordable Offences) Regulations 2000(1) shall be amended as follows.

(2) For paragraph 5 there shall be substituted—

5.  section 167 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994(2) (offence of touting for hire car services);.

(3) Paragraphs 26 and 51 shall be omitted.

(4) For paragraph 27 there shall be substituted—

27.  article 44 of the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001(3) (offence of falsely claiming a professional qualification etc.);.

(5) There shall be inserted at the end the following new paragraphs—

53.  section 3 of the Vagrancy Act 1824(4) (offence of begging); and

54.  section 4 of the Vagrancy Act 1824(5) (offence of persistent begging).

Section 4 has been amended by the Statute Law Revision (No. 2) Act 1888 (c. 57), sections 42, 49(4) and (5) of, and Schedule 3 to, the Criminal Justice Act 1925, section 1(2) of the Vagrancy Act 1935 (c. 20), section 62 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 7 to, the National Assistance Act 1948, section 1(2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1948, section 33(3) of, and Part 1 of Schedule 3 to, the Theft Act 1968 (c. 60), section 5(2) of, and the Schedule to, the Indecent Displays (Control) Act 1981(c. 42), sections 8 and 10 of, and Part 2 of the Schedule to, the Criminal Attempts Act 1981 (c. 47), section 40(3) of, and Schedule 3 to, the Public Order Act 1986 (c. 63), the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1989 and section 77 of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 to, the Criminal Justice Act 1982.
