Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 19771, and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 3 of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 19902, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2003 and shall come into force on 3rd September 2003.

In this Order—

“the Establishment Order” means the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19933; and

the trust” means the National Health Service Trust established by the Establishment Order.

Increase in the number of non-executive and executive directors of the trust2.

In article 4 of the Establishment Order (directors of the trust) “4 non-executive directors and 4 executive directors” shall be replaced by “5 non-executive directors and 5 executive directors”.

This Order amends the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993, which established the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital National Health Service Trust.

Article 2 of the Order increases the number of both the non-executive and the executive directors of the trust from 4 to 5.
