Category B or C mobile cranes

A Category B or C mobile crane must comply with—
a
the Construction and Use Regulations, apart from the provisions of those Regulations specified in Table 9; and
b
the Lighting Regulations.

But regulations 49, 51, 64 and 65 are disapplied in relation to a Category B or C mobile crane only to the extent that it is not possible for the crane to comply with those regulations on account of the need to perform the lifting operations that it is specially designed and constructed (or specially adapted) to carry out.
