Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Land Registration Act 2002 (Transitional Provisions) Order 2003 and shall come into force on the day that section 1 of the Act comes into force.
(2) In this Order—
“the 1925 Act” means the Land Registration Act 1925(1),
“the 1925 Rules” means the Land Registration Rules 1925(2),
“the 1972 Rules” means the Land Registration (Souvenir Land) Rules 1972(3),
“the 1991 Rules” means the Land Registration (Open Register) Rules 1991(4),
“the 1993 Rules” means the Land Registration (Official Searches) Rules 1993(5),
“the 2003 Rules” means the Land Registration Rules 2003(6),
“the Act” means the Land Registration Act 2002,
“commencement” means the day when section 1 of the Act comes into force,
“the Regulations” means the Land Registration (Conduct of Business) Regulations 2000(7).
