The Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2003

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 162(1) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002(1), hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2003.

2.  The following provisions of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 shall come into force on 30th July 2003:

(a) section 129; and

(b) sections 134 to 139.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force further provisions of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 on 30th July 2003, namely section 129 (disclosure of information by local authorities) and sections 134 to 139 (disclosure of information by employers and financial institutions, and related provisions).
