The New Road and Street Works Act 199122 is amended as follows.

In section 10 (application of enactments relating to monopolies)—
a
in subsection (1) for the words from the beginning of the subsection to “a person” are substituted the words “For the purposes of the Enterprise Act 2002, a person”; and
b
subsection (2) is repealed.

In section 33 (application of enactments relating to monopolies)—
a
in subsection (1) for the words from the beginning of the subsection to “a person” are substituted the words “For the purposes of the Enterprise Act 2002, a person”; and
b
subsection (2) is repealed.
