Specification of office 2 The office of the Drinking Water Quality Regulator for Scotland is hereby specified for the purposes of section 126(8)(b) of the Scotland Act 1998. A. K. This Order specifies the office of the Drinking Water Quality Regulator as an office in the Scottish Administration which is not a ministerial office for the purposes of the Scotland Act 1998.

This enables funds to be paid to the Regulator under section 65 of the Scotland Act 1998 and places the Regulator under specific accounting obligations under the Public Finance and Accountability (Scotland) Act 2000.
