The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 8B(5) of the Immigration Act 1971(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2002 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is laid before Parliament.
2. At the end of Part 2 of the Schedule to the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000(2) (Instruments made by the Council of the European Union) there is added:
“Common Position 2002/145/CFSP of 18th February 2002 (Zimbabwe)(3).”.

This Order amends the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000 (“the 200 Order”) by adding Common Position 2002/145/CFSP of 18th February 2002 to the list of instruments made by the Council of the European Union which are designated for the purposes of section 8B of the Immigration Act 1971 (as inserted by section 8 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999). Any person named by or under a designated instrument, or of a description specified in it, will be excluded from the United Kingdom (subject to the exceptions specified in article 3 of the 2000 Order).
