Whereas Brunei and the territory then known as Newfoundland and now known as Newfoundland and Labrador were designated as reciprocating countries under the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 19201:
And whereas that Country and territory are by the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders (Designation of Reciprocating Countries) Order 20022 designated reciprocating countries for the purposes of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 19723 and are no longer designated for the purposes of the said 1920 Act:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 19 of the Maintenance Orders Act 19584, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Revocation) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 28th May 2002, immediately after the coming into force of the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders (Designation of Reciprocating Countries) Order 2002.

“Brunei” and “Newfoundland and” shall be omitted from the First Schedule to the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Order 19595.
