Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) Order 2002.

This Order comes into force—
a
on 11th April 2002, for the purpose of making rules under articles 9G and 9H of the principal Order (as inserted by article 4 of this Order);
b
on 27th April 2002, for all other purposes.

In this Order—
a
“the Act” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000;
b
“the principal Order” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 M1.
