That Part of that Schedule was extended to Guernsey by the Broadcasting Act 1990 (Guernsey) Order 1991 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00003" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/191">1991/191</ref>); to Jersey by the Broadcasting Act 1990 (Jersey) Order 1991 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00004" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/193">1991/193</ref>); and to the Isle of Man by the Broadcasting Act 1990 (Isle of Man) Order 1991 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00005" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/192">1991/192</ref>). Section 2 is further amended by paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to the Wireless Telegraphy Act <ref eId="c00006" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/1998/6">1998 (c. 6)</ref>, and those amendments are extended to Guernsey by the Wireless Telegraphy (Guernsey) Order 1998 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00007" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1998/1511">1998/1511</ref>); to Jersey by the Wireless Telegraphy (Jersey) Order 1998 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00008" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1998/1512">1998/1512</ref>); and to the Isle of Man by the Wireless Telegraphy (Isle of Man) Order 1998 (<abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00009" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1998/1510">1998/1510</ref>). The amendments made by the 1998 Act in part supersede those made by the 1990 Act and accordingly paragraph 2(2) of Part 1 of Schedule 18 to the 1990 Act is repealed by Schedule 2 to the 1998 Act.</p></authorialNote>, as it has effect in the United Kingdom and as extended by the Wireless Telegraphy (Channel Islands) Order 1952<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00002" marker="2"><p><ref eId="c00010" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1952/1900">S.I.1952/1900</ref>.</p></authorialNote> and the Wireless Telegraphy (Isle of Man) Order 1952<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00003" marker="3"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00011" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1952/1899">1952/1899</ref>.</p></authorialNote>, and now vested in her<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00004" marker="4"><p>See section 3 of the Post Office Act <ref eId="c00012" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/1969/48">1969 (c. 48)</ref>, and <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00013" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1969/1369">1969/1369</ref> and <ref eId="c00014" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1969/1371">1371</ref> and <ref eId="c00015" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1974/691">1974/691</ref>.</p></authorialNote>, hereby, with the consent of the Treasury, makes the following Regulations:</p></formula></preamble><body><hcontainer name="crossheading" ukl:Name="P1group"><heading>Citation and commencement</heading><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-1"><num>1.</num><content><p>These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Television Licence Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.</p></content></hcontainer></hcontainer><hcontainer name="crossheading" ukl:Name="P1group"><heading>Amendment of the 1997 Regulations</heading><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-2"><num>2.</num><content><p>The Wireless Telegraphy (Television Licence Fees) Regulations 1997<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00005" marker="5"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00016" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1997/290">1997/290</ref>, amended by <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00017" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1998/558">1998/558</ref>, <ref eId="c00018" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1999/765">1999/765</ref>, <ref eId="c00019" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2000/630">2000/630</ref> and <ref eId="c00020" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2001/772">2001/772</ref>.</p></authorialNote> shall be amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 5.</p></content></hcontainer><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-3"><num>3.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-3-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>Schedule 2 (issue fees for television licences) shall be amended in accordance with this regulation.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-3-2"><num>(2)</num><intro><p>In Part 1—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="regulation-3-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>for “£36.50” in each place where it occurs there shall be substituted “£37.50”; and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="regulation-3-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>for “£109.00” in each place where it occurs there shall be substituted “£112.00”.</p></content></level></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-3-3"><num>(3)</num><intro><p>In paragraph 1(d) of Part III—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="regulation-3-3-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>for “£36.50” there shall be substituted “£37.50”;
