<Text>These Regulations may be cited as the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Approval of Fitters and Workshops) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.</Text>

<Text>In regulation 3 of the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Approval of Fitters and Workshops) (Fees) Regulations 1986<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/> for “£251” there shall be substituted “£259” and for “£102” there shall be substituted “£105”.</Text>

<Text>These Regulations amend the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) (Approval of Fitters and Workshops)(Fees) Regulations 1986 so as to increase the fees for the approval of fitters or workshops for the installation or repair of recording equipment (tachographs).</Text>
</P>
<P>
<Text>The fee for the issue of an approval is increased by 3.2% from £251 to £259 and for the renewal of an approval by 2.9% from £102 to £105.</Text>
