Title, extent and commencement1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 3) (Revocation) Regulations 2002 and shall extend to England.

These Regulations shall come into force on 6th March 2002.

These Regulations make provision in relation to England to give effect to article 3 of Commission Decision 2002/153/EC (OJ No. L50, 21.2.2002, p. 98) which repealed Commission Decision 2001/740/EC as amended concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom (OJ No. L277, 20.10.2001, p. 30). The Regulations revoke the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 3) Regulations 2002 (S.I. 2002/119) which implemented the last amendment to Commission Decision 2001/740/EC.
A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for these Regulations.
