Fees for licences under section 6 2 1 The National Lottery (Licence Fees) Order 2001 shall be amended as follows. 2 Article 3 (fees for licences under section 6) shall be renumbered as paragraph (1) of that article. 3 At the beginning of paragraph (1) of article 3 (as so renumbered) there shall be inserted “Subject to paragraph (2)”. 4 After paragraph (1) of article 3 (as so renumbered), there shall be inserted— 2 Where a licence granted under section 6 of that Act authorises the promotion by the licensee of an unrestricted number of lotteries which fall within a particular description specified in the licence, the fee shall be £100,000 . This Order amends the National Lottery (Licence Fees) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/2506) which prescribes the fees payable on all licences granted under section 5 or 6 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.

The Order prescribes the sums payable by the licensee to the National Lottery Commission by way of fees on the grant of a licence under section 6 of the Act, which authorises the promotion by the licensee of an unrestricted number of lotteries which fall within a description specified in the licence. It does not amend the fees payable on any other licences granted under section 5 or 6.
