The National Lottery (Licence Fees) (Amendment) Order 2002
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the National Lottery (Licence Fees) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 13th January 2003.

Article 3 (fees for licences under section 6) shall be renumbered as paragraph (1) of that article.

At the beginning of paragraph (1) of article 3 (as so renumbered) there shall be inserted “Subject to paragraph (2)”.

Where a licence granted under section 6 of that Act authorises the promotion by the licensee of an unrestricted number of lotteries which fall within a particular description specified in the licence, the fee shall be £100,000”.
This Order amends the National Lottery (Licence Fees) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/2506) which prescribes the fees payable on all licences granted under section 5 or 6 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.
The Order prescribes the sums payable by the licensee to the National Lottery Commission by way of fees on the grant of a licence under section 6 of the Act, which authorises the promotion by the licensee of an unrestricted number of lotteries which fall within a description specified in the licence. It does not amend the fees payable on any other licences granted under section 5 or 6.
