The Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent (Extension) Order 2002

Whereas an application for the purpose of extending an Education Action Zone has been made to the Secretary of State with the consent of the governing bodies of every school participating therein.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the School Standards and Framework Act 19981 the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent (Extension) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 10 January 2003.

Interpretation2.

In this Order—

“Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent” means the Education Action Zone established by the Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent Order 19992.

The extension of the Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent3.

The Rainbow Education Action Zone in Stoke on Trent is extended for a further period of two years beginning with 10th January 2003.
