The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by sections 1(1) and 18(2) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975(1), after such consultation as is mentioned in section 18(4) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 16th December 2002.
2. The sports ground specified in the Schedule to this Order (being a sports ground in England at which association football matches are played, which is occupied by a club which is a member of the Football League Limited or the Football Association Premier League Limited, and which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 5,000 spectators) is hereby designated as a sports ground requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975(2).

This Order designates Kingston Communications Stadium in Kingston upon Hull as a sports ground requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Ground Act 1975.
1975 c. 52; section 1(1) was amended by Schedule 2 to the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 (c. 27).
The number 5,000 was substituted for the number in section 1(1) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 for Football League grounds in England and Wales by the Safety of Sports Grounds (Accommodation of Spectators) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/449).
