Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2002The Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2003art 2 2002 No. 2513 EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (<Abbreviation Expansion="Number">No.</Abbreviation> 2) (Amendment) Order 2002 Made 3rd October 2002 Laid before Parliament 4th October 2002 Coming into force 25th October 2002 Being of the opinion that the Teacher Training Agency may, having regard to their general objectives, appropriately discharge the additional function hereby conferred, and having carried out such consultation as appears to her to be appropriate pursuant to section 16(3) of the Education Act 1994, the Secretary of State for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 16(1) and 23(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order: 1 This Order may be cited as the Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 25th October 2002. 2 1 In article 2(1) of the Teacher Training Agency (Additional Functions) (No. 2) Order 2000 the definition of “graduate teacher” shall be amended as follows. 2 At the end of sub-paragraph (b) replace “; and” with “, or” and insert the following sub-paragraph after that sub-paragraph— c participates in an employment-based teacher training scheme pursuant to paragraph 19 of Part IV of Schedule 2 to those Regulations; and . 1994 c. 30. By virtue of section 1(3) of that Act and article 2 of and Schedule 1 to the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672), the Teacher Training Agency shall not do anything in relation to Wales, or institutions or students in Wales, except at the request of the National Assembly for Wales.
